Our recruitment for this summer season has begun. We are on the lookout for flexible people who want to work a few hours here and there throughout the year, mainly Saturdays with hours available increasing through June, July and full time hours available during the peak season. Who do we want?

You will need to be flexible, hard working and able to deal with pressure as we can get really busy at times. It's a hot and fast moving environment so you should have bags of energy, enthusiasm and like talking to people. You don't necessarily need experience as full training is given, what is most important is that you're not afraid of hard work. If this sounds like you then you will love this job! We will be working at all sorts of venues from wedding receptions, birthdays and corporate events to music festivals, cider festivals and food festivals. If pizza isn't your passion just yet, that's fine. Come and work with us to make amaing pizzas all summer and make it your passion!

Main Duties

All elements of making pizza e.g. stretching the dough, adding toppings, using the wood oven, keeping the work area clean and tidy, taking orders. When very busy there are four distinct work stations. Operating the oven, stretching dough, topping and serving. You will be trained in all areas and be expected to work in any given area depending on the requirements on a given day.

Qualifications / Experience / Training

We will give full training in all aspects of the job. A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate would be an advantage but we will also provide that if necessary. Experience of working in a busy catering environment is helpful but not essential. Own transport is preferred.

Hours of work

Due to the mobile nature of our business this can vary greatly but usual hours of work would be between 4pm and 10pm. If we are setting up at a fete, festival or event we may need to arrive early in the morning and operate all day. We will plan the season as far in advance as possible but will need you to be flexible.

Pay

The hourly rate is £9 per hour.
